Happy Islamic New Year 1437H

Malaysian Chinese Muslim Association (MACMA) would like to wish all our members and friends “A Very Happy Islamic New Year 1437H. May the AL -Mighty blessed and make ease in all our future endeavours and undertakings,

The Islamic New Year is on the first day of Muharram, the first month in the lunar Islamic calendar, which differs from the Gregorian calendar. A year lasts for about 354 days and consists of 12 months in the Islamic/Hijri calendar. As the first month of the year, Muharram known as the month of remembrance and it is believed to be the most sacred month. Muslims are not allowed to fight during Muharram.

Islamic Calendar is used to date events in many Muslim countries (concurrently with the Gregorian calendar), and used by Muslims everywhere to determine the proper days on which to observe the annual fast (see Ramadan), to attend Hajj, and to celebrate other Islamic holidays and festivals.

Islamic New Year is the perfect occasion to get together with friends and family and we wish every one A Happy ISLAMIC NEW YEAR 1437H.

回历新年以穆哈兰月为始,即回历的第一个月,它和我们熟悉的阳历有些差别。回历拥有354天,分布于十二个月。穆哈兰月为回历的第一个月,它是最初始和神圣的月份。在此月份中穆斯林禁止任何战争和纠纷。

回历在很多穆斯林国家广泛使用。它应用于记载事故,计算斋月起始和朝觐等其它穆斯林假期和节日.

回历新年是吉祥的的日子。穆斯林家庭会在此时和亲朋戚友团聚,欢庆和互相祝福“回历新年快乐”。
